The Cake Collection
The cake that started it all, our signature Duke’s Mayo Chocolate Cake. We’ve taken the South’s sandwich staple to create a crumb that is impossibly moist, rich, and deeply chocolate.
Adding to our signature cake lineup, Old Fashioned Caramel Cakes, Snacking Cakes, and Italian Meringue Buttercream Layer Cakes hold their own place in this collection.
We use salted butter, locally sourced botanicals, and familiar flavors for our fillings and toppings.
The Shortbread Collection
Our Shortbread Scones are proof that simplicity requires discipline. They are buttery, soft, and not overly sweet.
In this collection, we have also perfected a Sugar-Crusted Shortbread and our Caramel Brownie Shortbread Bars are perfection in a single bite.
The Royal Collection
Our Royal Icing Sugar Cookies and Giant French Macarons are a labor of love, tiny canvases of edible art.
Perfect for a bridal shower, brand launch, merch gifts, birthday celebration, or themed dinner party.
Our royal icing and fillings are flavored with real vanilla bean and almond for a taste that truly matches the elegance of the design.

Because everything we do is meticulously handcrafted, we take a limited number of custom commissions each month. Start by filling out our [Inquiry Form]. Once I’ve reviewed your date and design, I’ll reach out with a custom quote. Your order is officially on my calendar once the 50% retainer is paid.

Being "finicky" takes time! For custom cakes and large cookie orders, I recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks in advance. If you have a last-minute craving, check my Instagram Stories—I occasionally post "flash sales" of extra bakes!

Most orders are available for pickup at the Waxhaw Farmers Market on Saturday mornings (9AM – 12PM). For mid-week orders, we offer a scheduled porch pickup at our Waxhaw studio. Details and addresses are provided once your order is finalized. Some delivery/meet up options are available upon request.

Absolutely. In fact, I encourage it! Every Saturday at the Waxhaw Farmers Market, I offer Market-Exclusive Slices, small-batch cookies and macarons. It’s the perfect way to taste-test our signature flavors before committing to a full custom order.

We are finicky about the planet. You won't find any plastic "clamshell" containers here. All Bake Shoppe treats are packaged in recyclable paper, compostable boxes, or our specialty compostable plant-based containers. We believe the unboxing experience should be as beautiful (and earth-friendly) as the bake itself.

Our kitchen is not a certified allergen-free facility, therefore specific gluten-free or vegan alternatives are not recommended due to cross-contamination with our other products.
“When I’m not in the Bake Studio, I’m usually tidying our 4-acre property, playing with our cats, dogs and chickens, dining out, or on my yoga mat. I try to answer all inquiries within 48 hours during my Bake Studio hours (Mon–Wed). Thank you for respecting the slow, intentional pace of boutique baking.”
